Melon's Newsletter 

Ah ha, Karit!   

We’re moseying on towards the great tomorrow of 2026, the year when Melonking.net will turn a decade old! Looking back; in small ways, every dream I ever cared to dream has come true in those years. Although, I still feel like I’m waiting for my life to begin, its been a very cool adventure this far!

I was making pancakes yesterday and the pancake said to me “You know Daniel, life is not flat like a pancake, its full of ups and downs!” - I agreed, and then I ate the pancake with syrup!
There have been plenty of downs, but as of writing it’s the solstice and the day world is about to begin; I wish you more ups than downs in the year ahead.. and also lots of pancakes!

It’s been a while since my last newsletter; sometimes its hard to find words even though they float around like bees in summer, but I know you’re having adventures out there, and I’m rooting for you c:

• GIPHY commissioned me to make a website for them: visit it - Giphy Gallery, they also hosted a fancy launch event in NY and flew me over for the opening!

• I hosted an indie video games event at the Triskel Arts Center – See pictures!
• I co-hosted 3 zine making workshops! – See Pictures!
• MelonLand now has an Art Hub and Guilds!
• This newsletter is send via Melon’s Post Office, you can make a newsletter too!
• Oh and I made a little animation sequence for an indie film that's coming out next year!
• If you missed it, here’s my journal about the Hackers & Designers summer camp last year!
• FINALLY - please leave me a voice mail!
