Are you ready for THE food event of the summer? Flavors of Albany Park returns on Wednesday, June 24th.

Spanning 4 routes (Lawrence West, Lawrence East, Kedzie, and Montrose), 60+ restaurants, and cuisine from almost 20 different countries, Flavors of Albany Park is Chicago's most diverse food crawl located in one neighborhood. Spend an evening in June strolling through the city's hidden gem of global cuisine, stopping by a dizzying array of restaurants until you can't eat anymore.

Skip the line with Early Pick-up!

If you bought a ticket to Flavors, come to our office to pick up your ticket early! All guests will receive a tote with their "passport" and compostable utensils.

Early Pick-up times

Tues. June 16 - Thurs. June 18: 9am-7pm

Mon. June 22 - Tues. June 23: 9am-7pm

Flavors is a rain or shine event.

The current forecast is mid-70's with no rain in the evening, but always keep an eye out on the weather!

Come prepared with a fan and sunglasses, or an umbrella and poncho.

Bring a container for extra food!

Whether you get full fast or the restaurants provide more food than you can eat, be sure to bring a tupperware to take your leftovers to go!

Although all of our routes sold out, we were able to release a few extra tickets for Lawrence West, Kedzie, and Montrose. Get them while you can!

Come back to the North River Commission parking lot for our AFTER-PARTY! There will be music and performances, opportunities to create your own art, and raffles.

Preparing for Flavors

As North River Commission's biggest event of the year, Flavors of Albany Park is an all-hands-on deck project. For the past few months, staff, community partners, and restaurants have been gearing up for Flavors! From planning to promotion, acquiring the materials to coordinating with restaurants, this intensive process is now in the final stretch.

This past week, our Board Members spent an evening packing tote bags for all of our Flavors participants! It was a great opportunity for the Board to take a hands-on role in the making of this event. With all of the bags packed, we've been giving participants their Flavors gear during early check-in! We've met so many great community members, many of whom are participating for the first time. We're super excited to bring this event to life next week and to eat some good food!
