After a lively performance by Ocean Child and the Filipino School of Chicago, we're excited to bring you the second Lot Jams performance of the year.

SamaSama Project will be dazzling the crowd in the Hibbard Elementary-Albany Park Multicultural Academy Plaza. Join us at 7pm for an evening of music, dance, community, and fun!

What you missed last time

This summer we started the series off with performances by Ocean Child, a Chicago-based indie rock project, known for blending soulful, raspy vocals with surf-inspired hooks and dreamy indie-pop melodies and the Filipino School of Chicago, a nonprofit empowering Filipino youth through cultural dance, history, and leadership - using the arts to build identity, confidence, and a new generation of change-makers. And they're just the first two groups to represent the cultural tapestry that is Albany Park.
