Edgewater Music Fest Headliners

Cloud Nothings

FRIDAY - South Stage

With past sets at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Riot Fest and Pitchfork, plus features on Jimmy Fallon, KEXP, and Studio C Sessions, we couldn't think of a better act than Cloud Nothings to headline night one of the inaugural Edgewater Music Fest. Their albums Attack on Memory and Here and Nowhere Else have both been included in Pitchfork "Best Of" lists, and they're an absolutely legendary band you won't catch at literally any other Chicago street fest.

Ric Wilson

SATURDAY - North Stage

One of Chicago's most important hip-hop / R&B personalities, his past collabs include Chromeo and A-Trak. He's been featured on TIME’s 11 Best Songs and Albums of Summer 2022. With performances at Pitchfork Festival, Wicker Park Fest, and Boston Calling, Ric is no stranger to turning crowds all the way up.

Foxy Shazam

SUNDAY - South Stage

With a wild performance that has taken the stage at Riot Fest, Lollapalooza, and Warped Tour, this glam rock powerhouse is bringing their electric energy to Edgewater. You’ve heard them in James Gunn’s Peacemaker, the new Superman movie, and during Superbowl XLIV.

Speedy Ortiz

FRIDAY - North Stage

Sadie Dupuis and this energetic Philadelphia four-piece released possibly their best album yet entitled Rabbit Rabbit in 2023. They've played Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, Riot Fest, Sasquatch, and they show absolutely no signs of slowing down.

Sweet Pill

SUNDAY - North Stage

Fresh off their sold-out Lincoln Hall show and with festival credits like Riot Fest and Warped Tour, Sweet Pill is set to EXPLODE. This high energy alt-rock act is heavily influenced by 2000s emo and math rock, as evident on their 2022 debut Where The Heart Is.

Sludgeworth

SATURDAY - North Stage

If you know, you know. To Chicago punk rock enthusiasts of a certain era, Sludgeworth is a BIG DEAL. Formed in 1989 as a side project of the band Screeching Weasel, this mysterious band doesn't get together often, but did release a new EP in 2024. They've chosen to play their ONE Chicago show of the year at Edgewater Music Fest.
