The first 90 days of 2026 are behind us. Of everything I've read in the past 90 days, one quote keeps coming back to me: "Desire is a contract you make with yourself to be unhappy until you get what you want." - Naval Ravikant If you're like me, you probably want too many things at once.
Each one of those desires is quietly sending a message to your nervous system: I'm not okay until I get that thing. Here's the problem: desire is essential. As Napoleon Hill said, "A burning desire is the starting point of all achievement." Without it, there's no drive to build, earn, or improve. BUT... carrying five or six burning desires at once won't make you successful. It will make you scattered, overwhelmed, and anxious. There's a middle ground. A way to stay ambitious and productive while also feeling at peace throughout your day. I call it ODAT: One Desire At a Time. Choose one major desire, 90 days at a time. One area where you pour your focus and tolerate the stress of not being there yet, while accepting everything else where it is for the time being (doing the minimum to maintain all other areas). You're not abandoning your other goals. You're sequencing them. You're giving ONE desire the attention it deserves instead of splitting your energy across all of them at once. Stay focused on that desire until you've made noticeable progress. Then move to the next one. Select Your Q2 2026 Desire I covered ODAT with my Academy members in Q1 and created a worksheet and video to help them choose their one desire for the next 90 days. With Q2 starting this week, I want to share both with you because I think they could change the way you approach the next three months. One Desire Selection Worksheet: One Desire Video (watch the first 3 minutes): In the worksheet and video, you'll learn the EDR method to select your next 90-day desire: E - Excitement: How energized or nervous are you to start pursuing this? D - Domino Effect: If you made real progress here, would other desires become easier? R - Regret Potential: If you keep putting this off for another year, how much will that bother you? After I completed the worksheet, the noise in my head dropped significantly. I knew I could make massive progress in 90 days, and that my other desires could wait. I finally started making real progress on a course I've been delaying for over a year. Your Turn Try it this week. Print out or fill out the worksheet on your computer to discover your ONE 90-day desire and commit to it. Cheers, Nathan P.S.
