A Low Key Holiday Weekend in Evanston ❄️

This monthly open line dance features step reviews for absolute beginners through improvers, followed by open dancing with shared music and dances.

This community Kwanzaa celebration features an African drum circle, a youth-led candle lighting, and a performance by the Chofit Dancers. Guests can also learn about the holiday’s principles and traditions.

Ms. Jess leads a short, family-friendly music session with singalongs and stringed instruments. Kids can join in and try strumming at the end. 
Sunday, December 28Matinee Movie @ MainTime: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Cost: Free Location: Evanston Public Library Main Branch
Kids ages 5 and up can watch The Bad Guys 2, an animated heist comedy, with movie-inspired crafts available in the Art Garden starting at 1:00 PM. 
Winter Family YogaTime: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Cost: $25.00–$45.00 depending on family size Location: Grateful Yoga
This family yoga session includes two age-based classes led by a kids yoga specialist. The first is for crawlers to 23 months, followed by a class for ages 2–4.
