We’re heading into Week Four of the market season, and it’s been a delicious ride already! Ramps had their moment—brief and beautiful—and now asparagus and rhubarb are taking center stage. From crisp stalks perfect for roasting or grilling to tart rhubarb just begging to be baked into a pie, the market is full of spring flavor.

So, what’s next? Keep an eye out for tender greens, radishes, spring onions, and possibly the first strawberries of the season in the coming weeks.

The Recipe Box: Keep It Simple

Sometimes it’s not about following a recipe—it’s about letting great ingredients shine. This past Sunday, breakfast was as simple as it gets: a perfectly poached egg on toasted Blue Polenta bread from Dorothy’s Bakery, topped with a handful of fresh microgreens from Kaleido Greens. The eggs? Straight from Bennett Farms.

No fancy steps, just a celebration of what our market has to offer. When you start with quality ingredients, even the simplest meal feels special.
