Keep Your Christmas GREEN

WasteNot Compost is offering holiday tree collection for all Chicago residents. For the first time ever, you don't have to be a WasteNot member to make sure that your holiday tree stays out of the landfill. Click here for more information, collection will happen in January. Also, anyone who purchases a holiday tree pick-up will have the option for a free month of compost collection too!

Have a tangle of non-working Christmas lights you’re ready to part with? Don’t toss them in the trash. A Pretty Flower is serving as a drop-off location for old or broken holiday lights, helping keep them out of landfills and giving them a chance to be properly recycled. Simply bring your non-working string lights to the shop during business hours and feel good about wrapping up the season a little more sustainably.
