Spring Sidewalk Sale

While the City of Chicago continues its streetscape improvements, we're making the most of it with hosting a Lincoln Square Spring Sidewalk Sale!

The 4700 block of N Lincoln Avenue will be temporarily closed to car traffic due to construction beginning Monday, April 21. We're turning this moment into an opportunity to celebrate community and support our local businesses. The Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce a weeklong Sidewalk Sale from Monday, April 21 to Sunday, April 27, transforming our streets into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly hub.

Come stroll the block, soak up the fresh spring air, and discover unique deals from your favorite local shops. Whether you're hunting for a one-of-a-kind gift, updating your wardrobe, or just looking to check out the picturesque center of Lincoln Square, there's something for everyone. Let’s come together to support our merchants and keep the heart of our community thriving

What to Expect:

  • Sidewalk displays featuring unique finds, fashion, home goods, and gifts
  • Special in-store promotions for those who prefer to browse inside
  • Delicious dining and grab-and-go treats from neighborhood restaurants and cafés
  • Wine tastings and cooking demos

Join us on Lincoln Avenue and show your love for Lincoln Square’s small business community. Every purchase makes a difference—see you at the Spring Sidewalk Sale!

More Area Parking Options

While construction continues at the CTA Western Brown Line Station campus through July 2025, Lincoln Square remains open for business. The neighborhood’s restaurants, shops, cafés, and public spaces are ready to welcome residents and visitors alike.

Despite the ongoing work, parking is still easy and accessible. There are more than 1,000 parking spaces within half a mile of Giddings Plaza, including both free and metered options. Whether visiting for a quick errand or planning a leisurely afternoon in the square, convenient parking options are close at hand.
