Something sweet is coming to Lincoln Square, Chicago — and trust us, you don’t want to miss it.

Get ready for The Great Bake Walk, a brand-new community event where deliciousness meets discovery. Wander through the neighborhood on a sweet tour, sampling tasty creations from some of Chicago’s most talented local bakers. From cookies to pastries, breads to brownies, every stop is a chance to treat your taste buds and shop small businesses that make our community so special.

The response has been incredible! The all-ages Sweet Walk route is officially SOLD OUT — thank you for the love! That leaves just a handful of tickets left for the 21+ Boozy Sweet Walk Route, which includes extra-special bites and a little grown-up indulgence along the way.

EcoFest is the 47th Ward's annual environmental festival, where we come together as a community to learn about sustainability and celebrate our beautiful planet! Here you can discover new organizations, meet with like-minded neighbors, and shop from a variety of sustainable vendors. This event will bring together small businesses, non-profits, and other vendors from across the city for a day of learning, activities, and fun focused on a sustainable future. See you at Welles Park on June 7th from 10am - 2pm!

Pride Month in LSR

ENJOY, AN URBAN GENERAL STORE is celebrating 20 years of being an LGBTQIA+ business. All month long, they'll have Pride Postcards, pens and stamps to send some pride and positiviity to a loved one.

From time-to-time, Dovetail Brewery likes to pull out a beautiful rainbow of fruited, spontaneously-fermented beers out of the cellar. It’s June, so it's the perfect time for them to roll out their slushie machine. Yes, beer slushies. Yes, spontaneously-fermented beer slushies. For their special Pride-edition of the Secret Garden this Friday, June 6, they'll be serving Chocolate Covered Raspberry (think Framboise meets Baltic Porter), Gooseberry, and Plum. $1 from each pour will be donated to the Center on Halsted.

Old Town School of Folk Music is celebrating Pride Month throughout the month of June with a range of special events including dance workshops, a Pride jam, Queer Song Circle and more. Click here for all of the details.
