This weekend, Chicago Printmakers Collaborative is celebrating the grand opening of their brand new WING Studio. Free and open to all at 4883 N Lincoln Avenue. Stop by their reception and open house from noon - 5pm on Saturday, March 22. Make a takeaway print, tour the new space and CPC workshop, and enjoy refreshments and locally-made bites.

We also stopped in this week to Palmitas - a new Mexican restaurant located at 2604 W Lawrence Avenue. The restaurant opened last week and serves up traditional Mexican dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Now offering dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Their tacos are delicious!

Spring Sessions - Start Something New!

Lillstreet Art Center's Spring registration is open. They have a range of 5 and 10 week classes in ceramics, metalsmithing, drawing & painting, textiles and more. Plus kids classes, and one day workshops in each of their specialty departments.

Spring classes are blooming at Bunny Ears Art House! From messy, magical sensory fun for little artists to hands-on illustration and cartooning for big kids—there’s something for every creative kiddo this season!

Chicago Printmakers Collaborative is so excited to offer Spring Shorts classes for April & May! These shorter classes focus on exciting techniques that are not covered in a regular class. Learn new skills, make beautiful prints, and get inky! 

Explore the Art of Wheel-Throwing Pottery and Unleash Your Creativity at Ceramics by Leo! From 8 week sessions to 2-hour pottery classes, Leo has options for folks that are just starting out and those that already have experience.

Fit City Kids has a a Spring Session of Strength in Girls starting April 8th. This 8-week session is designed to help young females (9-13 years) navigate the world of fitness and social pressures. They meet with Coach Kim 2x a week on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30PM at Fit City Kids.
