Lincoln Square Farmers Market

This week marks the official start of the Autumn season, and we've definitely felt a change in the weather. This week's tables are beginning to shift from summer's bounty toward the flavors of fall.

While you'll still find some more summer favorites like corn, berries and plums, you'll start to see more fall-like arrivals like squash, apples and root veggies.

Pop ups this week include Cafe Tola, Local Pastures, and Rebecca's Confections and more.

If you can't make it tonight, head over for the Tuesday market running 7am - noon. Thursday markets run through the end of October and Tuesday markets run through November 17.

Apple Fest Is Almost Here!

Apple Fest is just one week away! From Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, Lincoln Avenue will fill with fall flavors, live music, local makers, family activities, food and drink, and plenty of apple-inspired fun.

Want to be part of making Apple Fest happen? We’re still looking for volunteers to help welcome festival-goers, support event operations, and keep things running smoothly throughout the weekend. Sign up for a shift and lend a hand!

The 15th Annual Pooch Costume Contest, presented by Urban Pooch Canine Life Center and Urban Pooch Training & Fitness, kicks off Saturday morning at 9:30am. Dress up your four-legged friend for a chance to take home prizes in categories including Most Adorable, Most Creative, Best Pooch/Parent Combo, and Best Costume Overall. Advance registration is required for all participating pooches.

Celebrate fall at Cider Fest TONIGHT at the beautiful Artifact Events! Spend the evening sampling a wide variety of local, regional, and national cider brands. The school year is underway, which means those no-school days are already starting to make their way onto the calendar.
