Peak season is here at the Lincoln Square Farmers Market! Today, stock up on the best of Midwest summer produce, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables at their seasonal best. Whether you’re planning a big weekend meal or just looking to bring a little more summer home, you’ll find plenty to choose from.

This week’s pop-up vendors are Café Tola, Rebecca’s Confections, and Local Pastures. Stop by from 3:00–7:00 p.m. to shop local, fill your market bag, and make the most of peak summer produce!

We’re proud sponsors of Chicago's only classical music street festival! Access Contemporary Music’s Thirsty Ears Festival, a weekend celebrating contemporary classical music right here in Ravenswood. Join ACM this Saturday and Sunday at Wilson and Hermitage for a range of classical music plus local artisans, kid-friendly activities, food trucks and more!


Join Global Gardens for a hands-on cooking class with Farmer Celestine, who will teach participants how to make traditional African fufu with goat soup this Saturday, August 22nd at 4pm. Giant puppets are taking over Winnemac Park! REMNANTS is a free, all-ages outdoor spectacle that brings Chicago’s ancient prairies, wetlands, savannas and woodlands to life through larger-than-life puppets, movement, ecology and storytelling this Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22 at 6pm. On Friday, August 21, MOLASSES is welcoming NYC-based Lingua Franca for a special pop-up from 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Shop Lingua Franca’s ethically made pieces, create your own custom cashmere knit at the custom cashmere bar, and enjoy complimentary refreshments while supplies last. While Del Sur Bakery is temporarily closed for renovations, you can still get your Del Sur fix! The bakery is taking up a temporary residency at the Ravenswood Event Center, giving you a chance to enjoy some of their favorites while they work on their space.


Got a souvenir beer bat? Bring it to Dovetail Brewery for a refill! Now through the end of the baseball season, you can celebrate home games for Chicago’s North Side team with a beer bat refill at Dovetail Brewery.
