Join Global Gardens for a hands-on cooking class with Farmer Celestine, who will teach participants how to make traditional African fufu with goat soup this Saturday, August 22nd at 4pm. Giant puppets are taking over Winnemac Park! REMNANTS is a free, all-ages outdoor spectacle that brings Chicago’s ancient prairies, wetlands, savannas and woodlands to life through larger-than-life puppets, movement, ecology and storytelling this Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22 at 6pm.
