Spring Sidewalk Sale

The 4700 block of Lincoln Avenue will be closed to car traffic due to construction the week of April 21-27. So, we're turning this moment into an opportunity to celebrate community and support our local businesses. The Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a weeklong Sidewalk Sale -transforming Lincoln Avenue into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly hub filled with special promotions, and pop-ups, wine tastings and more throughout the week.

Please note - sales and promos will be both inside out outside of participating businesses during this time!

Spring Wine Stroll

Two routes are already sold out, and tickets are low for the final two! Our Wine Strolls are a great way to support the neighborhood while tasting and discovering new wine regions and varietals. The event transforms retail establishments and restaurants of Lincoln Square and Ravenswood into wine tasting destinations. 

Taste through a carefully curated variety of wines from our partners at Piccadilly Market, Augusta Food & Wine, and Rockwell Bottle Shop & Coffee, along with a light assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres from area restaurants. Wine Stroll is the perfect way to explore new businesses and see just what makes our community so special! These tickets will sell out, so grab yours while you can!

Earth Day Activities

Earth Day is fast approaching, and here are some ways you can get involved to help make the community a little more green!

Ravenswood Neighbors Association is hosting a Ravenswood Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 19 from 9am - noon. All are welcome! Meet on the corner of Ravenswood and Sunnyside for coffee, tool pickup and event kick-off. Click here for more information.

Pure Barre Lincoln Square will be hosting their annual Earth Day clothing swap on April 27 at 3pm. Bins are out at the studio to drop your clean, gently worn athletic wear.

Head to Waters Elementary School for a morning of service and learning on Saturday, April 19 from 10am -noon.

Earth Day Trivia Fundraiser benefiting Trees for You and Me at Spiteful Brewing on Wednesday, April 23 at 7pm. Put your eco-knowledge to the test and compete for awesome prizes while supporting reforestation and carbon reduction initiatives. Click here for details.

This Saturday, April 19th is the last day on Damen Avenue for both Ponnopozz and District. Both businesses are moving to new locations. Ponnopozz is moving to 1966 W Montrose Avenue and planning on a June re-opening at their new location. District is moving to 5430 N Clark Street - re-opening in their new location in May.
