Moving your cursor around is intuitive and accurate. You can swipe two fingers to scroll, and tap two fingers to right-click. And of course, you can just tap one finger to left-click.
It feels good, too. We took our time with this one. We've iterated over the surface texture until we landed on a smooth, almost-glassy surface that feels great, and then we fine-tuned the trackpad's firmware with Cirque for that specific surface.
When you use your Navigator with Windows and Linux, it works out of the box as a Precision Trackpad. For Mac, we created a free utility that makes it feel as nice as a native trackpad, with smooth inertial scrolling.
If you already have a Navigator trackball, you can get just the trackpad core for $89. This works because the trackball and the trackpad fit into the same shell, so if you want to change how you mouse (remember, only one Navigator at a time) you can get just the core to swap it in and not be stuck with extra parts you don't need.
This is the trackpad you've been waiting for. It rocks.
There's lots more on the product page, including videos. Or if you already know you want it, here's a direct link to the buy page. You can also just reply to this email with any questions or comments you might have.
Finally, and as always, thank you for reading!
Love,
