It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, it’s not the Christmas Creep, it’s the Movies Fantasy League pregame, here to get you excited about the upcoming holiday awards season.
If you’ve never played before, we’ve got a whole primer for you right here. This year, we’ve got new prizes, more of your favorite movie experts and commentators signed up for the expanded Creators Division, and we’ve made a big change to the way our game works.
If you’re ready to draft your team, registration is live now, but make sure you check out Joe Reid’s complete draft guide before you submit. If you’d rather wait until closer to when scoring begins, sign up here for reminders to draft before the deadline.
But wait, there’s more! This season, for the first time, we’re leaving registration open past the league start date, so that people who missed out on the early draft window can still have a chance to play. The catch is that you won’t be able to select any movies that have already accumulated points, so your best bet is to draft before September 25 to take advantage of the full slate of draftable movies.
