Help repeal the federal voucher program.
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State

Friend,

Last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act was a massive and harmful bill pushed by the Trump administration. One of the bill's many damaging provisions created the first-ever nationwide federal private school voucher program, which would funnel billions in taxpayer money to private, mostly religious, schools. Now pro-public-school lawmakers are doing something about it. The Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act would repeal this federal voucher program.

That’s where you come in — we need you to reach out to your members of Congress and ask them to support this legislation.

Public schools educate 90% of students in the United States. Taxpayer funds would be far better invested in strengthening the public schools that serve the vast majority of our communities – not funneled into a private system and benefiting only wealthy families.

TAKE ACTION: Click here to urge your members of Congress to support the Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act and repeal the federal voucher program!

Public schools are vital to our students, our communities, and our democracy. They are free and welcoming to all students regardless of income, disability, religion, race, background, or identity. Private school voucher programs force taxpayers to fund private and religious education, often with little accountability. They send public dollars to schools that can discriminate against students and families — and frequently benefit wealthy families whose children are already enrolled in private schools.

ACT NOW! Tell your members of Congress to repeal the federal private school voucher program!

Thanks for making your voice heard on this issue to protect public education and church-state separation.
