In a world that’s rapidly changing, their insights, creativity and leadership are essential — and deserve to be heard. So, how can students you know discover and communicate their ideas?
TED-Ed Student Talks offers free, customizable activities for K-12 educators working with students ages 6-18 in classrooms, schools, extracurricular settings and youth organizations. This program guides students through a structured, supportive journey where they learn the fundamentals of storytelling and public speaking.
Throughout this journey, students will have the opportunity to:
• Create and deliver a TED-style talk, gaining public speaking skills, confidence and the conviction that their voice matters
• Develop essential, transferable skills like leadership, critical thinking and collaboration
• Participate in Connect Week, which are virtual meetups where they can share their ideas, strengthen communication skills and meet peers from around the world
• Share their ideas with the TED-Ed team for possible recognition and amplification through initiatives like the Great Ideas Quest
