Join Us at the State of Uptown this Thursday!

The annual State of Uptown luncheon, presented by Uptown United and the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, convenes Uptown's business, development and non-profit community to hear from our elected officials. This year's event is Thursday, May 14th from 12:00-1:30pm at Furama, 4936 N Broadway.

You'll hear from 46th Ward Alderwoman Angela Clay, 47th Ward Alderman Matt Martin, and 48th Ward Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth on Uptown updates plus outgoing Board Chairs Jackie Loewe and Liz DeBoni on the power of volunteering in their neighorhood.

Tickets are $25 for Chamber Members, $30 General Admission, and $40 at the Door

Thresholds' Mobile Crisis Response Team Serving North and Northwest Chicago 24/7

Thresholds Crisis Response North provides emergency mental health intervention in a community setting. Thresholds clinicians asses crises via telephone and determine the appropriate response, which may include dispatching a Crisis Team to the caller's location to help.

History Walking Tour

Thursday, June 11th | 6:00pm

Chicago Public Library, Uptown Branch

Back by popular demand! Scott Vermillion, longtime resident and historian, will lead you on a walking tour surrounding the fascinating history of Uptown's Buena Park. The tour covers 1.8 miles round trip and takes about two hours.
