Free Haircut or Beauty Treatments at Harry S Truman College
Through the Truman Collage student salon, community members receive quality services at no cost. By offering this, our program goes a long way in preparing our students for meaningful careers while staying connected to our community,” said Dr. Shawn Jackson, president of Harry S Truman College.
No appointment necessary but you must have a legal photo I.D. and be at least 18 years of age or older. The hours of operation for this Spring semester are as follows:
Daytime Now through April 23, 2026:
- Monday 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Evenings: (No chemical services available during this time)
- Wednesday's 5pm-7:30pm
- Thursday's 5pm-7:30pm

Location: Harry S Truman College’s Technical Center, 1200 W Sunnyside Avenue. Center is located on the college campus, 1145 W. Wilson Avenue in Chicago.
