When's the last time you spoke to your customers?
For many of you the answer is, "I can't even remember."
But having live conversations with customers not only leads to interesting insights and product ideas, but can lead to solid ads - like this...
This one is from Brez (not a client).
So they have the founder sitting at a desk, phone in front of them, and they call one of their top customers out of the blue. And she gives a really glowing testimonial off the cuff.
Now I don’t know if this is staged or not. It could be. But it feels very authentic and overall it’s a wonderful ad format.
All you need to do is:
1.) pull a list of your top customers
2.) setup a camera
3.) go down the list and start calling them (make sure they know that they’re being recorded).
I think this is best done by the founder or someone internal to the brand, but if you’re a client and want us to test this format for you just let me know.
