They just hit me with this ad and I thought it was a great example of making solid creative with very little...

This one is from Marine Layer (not a client).

All you need to pull this off is an image of your product and a talented motion designer. No UGC or expensive brand shoot required.

The text animates in word by word saying "the walking golfing hiking brunching do everything shorts" with a large, simple image of the shorts below. They're getting across that these shorts are versatile.

It then swipes up to "but we just call it the 7" hybrid short" and shows their logo.

This is a solid format because again, you just need a basic product image which you already have. And you can easily test different copy and messaging to create different variations. And it's more engaging than a static.
