I'm so flattered the algorithm served me this ad...

This ad is from Neil Jesani Tax Advisors (not a client).

It starts with standard UGC, someone talking straight to camera. But then she opens with:

“If you’re making over $2 million a year…”

And just like that, the ad instantly filters the audience. If you’re in their target, your ears perk up. If you’re not, you probably roll your eyes and keep scrolling.

She then goes into how costly any tax mistakes can be at that income level and they specialize in helping people who make $2M+ with their taxes.

The vast, vast majority of people who see this ad won't be qualified. But that's ok, because the few people who do make millions per year will be very interested in learning more.

Don't be afraid to say who exactly your product is for straight away. It's very common to resist this advice because we feel like we'll be losing sales and excluding potential buyers. While the reality is that we're actually becoming much more desirable to our best customers.
