I was just browsing through some of our recent work and ooooooweeee do I like this ad...

We made this one for Rishi Tea.

So we've got a splitscreen.

On the left side: expectation. A beautiful looking matcha latte.

On the right side: The same drink, but in-progress. Whisking, pouring. We aren't sure where it’s headed. Is it going to look like crap?Is it going to turn out well?

And that’s the hook. That little bit of tension keeps people watching.

And then with the final pour the drink comes together and perfectly matches the left side of the frame.

Sometimes you don’t need a complex script. You just need a little bit of tension and something that makes people wonder, “how is this going to turn out?”
