Hey Friend of the Andersonville Farmers Market,
The countdown is on! The temps may be messing with us, but Market season starts May 13. We are looking for volunteers to help with set-up, teardown, and keeping the market running smoothly each week. It’s a great way to meet neighbors and be part of something special. Click here for more information and to sign up to volunteer.
Scroll to the end to take a look at the 2026 Map! The Misericordia Hearts and Flours Bakery truck will be joining us on the west end of the Market at Ashland and Winona for the first three markets on May 13, 20, and 27.

Thanks to LinkUp Illinois, shoppers can use SNAP/EBT and Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits at the market and take advantage of Link Match, which doubles your dollars when purchasing fresh produce. Here’s how it works: For every $1 you spend using SNAP benefits, you’ll receive an additional $1 to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, or food-producing plants
Don't lose your benefits! As of February 1, Illinois lost its waiver for reporting work requirements, and changes to work requirements went into effect. Visit SaveOurSNAP.org for full details on SNAP changes and call IDHS for assistance at 1-800-843-6154
1) Update your information with IDHS 2) Review work requirements and exemptions 3) Tell your family and friends to do the same |
