Record Store Day at Rattleback Records is just around the corner on April 18! Stand in line now so you don't miss out. Just kidding. Don't do that, but do get there early! And then on Sunday, April 19 from 10AM-2PM, Rivers and Roads Cafe invites the community to come together for a lively morning of food, music, and local shopping to celebrate their 4th birthday! Guests can enjoy house-made focaccia pizza and birthday cake, shop discounted merch, and enter raffles!

EASTER IN ANDERSONVILLE Celebrate Easter in Andersonville with a lineup of dining options throughout the weekend. On Sunday, April 5, enjoy a dine-in buffet at Andies Restaurant from 12-8PM, or gather for Easter Brunch at Tala House featuring steak and eggs, dill omelettes, french toast, warm focaccia, and cocktails. Bar Roma offers weekend specials from April 3-5, along with a family-style Easter meal on Sunday featuring multiple courses for the whole table. Anteprima opens early on Easter Sunday from 4-8:30 PM, while Vincent is serving brunch from 10AM–3 PM with classic dishes and seasonal specials. Lastly. Uvae is hosting brunch from 10:30 AM–2:30PM. Reservations are recommended where available.

FIBER CRAFTS NIGHT Join Rivers and Roads Cafe for a cozy Fiber Crafts Night in partnership with The Dropped Stitch on Wednesday, April 8, from 6–8 PM. This welcoming, after-hours gathering invites fiber artists of all kinds to connect, share, and work on their projects in a relaxed, cabin-like atmosphere. Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, or are just getting started, all skill levels are encouraged to attend. Guests can enjoy espresso drinks and snacks while crafting alongside fellow makers. Fiber Crafts Night will continue every second Wednesday of the month, making it the perfect ongoing creative meetup in the neighborhood.
SUMMER CAMP AT CHICAGO WALDORF Chicago Waldorf School invites children into a summer of imagination, creativity, and outdoor discovery with its thoughtfully designed summer camp programs. Rooted in hands-on learning and play, each week offers a unique theme from puppetry and gardening to claywork, zine making, and music, giving campers the chance to explore new skills while building lasting memories. Designed for early childhood through grade school ages, the camps emphasize creativity and connection.
