Dear Friend of Andersonville,

begins this Friday! Join us on Saturday, March 28 at 12PM for the Ribbon Cutting of the new cafe at , located at 5668 N Clark. Folk Cafe is an all-new coffee experience tucked inside a locally-owned vintage shop. Come try a drink you've probably never had before! 

Chicago artist and Andersonville resident will present “Pushing 40,” an exhibition of 40 collage pieces created between 2019-2026 at the Clark Street Trading Post (5706 N Clark) beginning March 27. Join Kelly for the opening reception this Friday night from 6:30-8:30PM. The exhibition features paper collages constructed using materials from magazines including fashion, nature, and adult publications dating back to 1945. 

Save the date for a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 from 10AM to 12PM at the playground at Swift Elementary, 5900 N Winthrop Ave. Sponsored by , this family-friendly event will feature 5,000 eggs and plenty of opportunities for kids to join in the fun. The hunt will begin at 10AM, with a second round of eggs released at 11AM to give families a flexible window to participate. Community members are encouraged to come out and celebrate together.

INSIDEWALK SALE FEATURES 
 | 5234 N Clark: Find unique and one of a kind vintage and antique finds at Andersonville Antiques this weekend including art, lighting, furniture, memorabilia, barware, jewelry, and more. They will have hundreds of items on sale throughout the store.

| 5234 N Clark: Last month Andersonville Galleria raised over $400 for the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR)! How are funds raised? Galleria vendors donate items to the ICRR fundraiser table and 100% of the proceeds from sales get fully donated to this wonderful organization. Help them beat February’s donation in March by shopping this weekend!

5706 N Clark: Stop by our office on Saturday from 12PM - 4PM to shop exclusive discounted Andersonville merch! The first 25 people who stop by and use the code word "Cheers!" will receive 20% off a Wine Walk route of their choosing.

| 5430 N Clark: This weekend, treasure hunting mode on at District! Starting Friday at 10AM, they are bringing out all the goodies with deals you can’t resist, and finds you didn’t know you needed!

WANT Spring Clean Up
WANT Spring Clean Up

WANT Block Club is looking for volunteers for their Spring Clean Up event on Sunday, March 29 from 9AM-12PM. From 9AM-10:30AM, volunteers will cleanup litter and pick up leaves. Rakes and supplies are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own gloves. From 10:30AM-12PM, stick around for a Cleaning Hand Tools workshop using community tools. Bring your own pruners to clean!

Earth Day Parks Cleanup at Park 599
In celebration of Earth Day, Park 599, located behind Anderson Point, will participate in the citywide day of cleanup on April 18 from 9AM to 12PM. Volunteers are invited to meet at Park 599, located at 1623 W Edgewater, to help care for and beautify this shared community space.

WAFFLES AT THE SWEDISH AMERICAN MUSEUM
Happy Våffeldag. Waffles are being served in both Mormor's Café and the hall today. Guests are invited to stop by and celebrate, with waffles available for $5 and coffee for $2 until 3PM.

ANNUAL EARTH DAY SALE 
annual Earth Day $1 Sale returns on Saturday, April 18, starting at 11AM while supplies last at both the Andersonville and Wicker Park locations. Shoppers can find a curated selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories for just $1 each, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the . The sale is cash only and items go quickly, so plan to arrive early and bring a reusable bag.

EASTER AT UVAE
Celebrate Easter at on Sunday, April 5 with a festive brunch experience. Guests can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu for $58 per person, with the option to add unlimited boozy brunch for $28. A special kids brunch is also available for ages 4 to 12 at $22 per child, making it a great option for the whole family to gather and enjoy the holiday together.

DEATH TO WINTER 
, located at 5600 N Ridge, invites you to celebrate spring at Death to Winter Fest on April 18 from 3:30-6PM. Experience face painting, giveaways, an egg hunt, and a house band performance you won't want to miss. Even better, it's free and open to the public!

NATIONAL READING MONTH
If you need a reason to brunch, this is it. In honor of National Reading Month, is hosting a Dine-to-Donate this Sunday, March 29 from 8AM-2PM. Guests can stop in to enjoy their beloved breakfast sandwiches, bagels, brunch favorites, handcrafted lattes, and teas, with a portion of proceeds benefiting and .
