InSidewalk Sale begins this Friday! Join us on Saturday, March 28 at 12PM for the Ribbon Cutting of the new cafe at Folk Home, located at 5668 N Clark. Folk Cafe is an all-new coffee experience tucked inside a locally-owned vintage shop. Come try a drink you've probably never had before!
Chicago artist and Andersonville resident Kelly Boner will present “Pushing 40,” an exhibition of 40 collage pieces created between 2019-2026 at the Clark Street Trading Post (5706 N Clark) beginning March 27. Join Kelly for the opening reception this Friday night from 6:30-8:30PM. The exhibition features paper collages constructed using materials from magazines including fashion, nature, and adult publications dating back to 1945.
Save the date for a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 from 10AM to 12PM at the playground at Swift Elementary, 5900 N Winthrop Ave. Sponsored by First Free, this family-friendly event will feature 5,000 eggs and plenty of opportunities for kids to join in the fun. The hunt will begin at 10AM, with a second round of eggs released at 11AM to give families a flexible window to participate. Community members are encouraged to come out and celebrate together.

Andersonville Galleria | 5234 N Clark: Last month Andersonville Galleria raised over $400 for the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR)! How are funds raised? Galleria vendors donate items to the ICRR fundraiser table and 100% of the proceeds from sales get fully donated to this wonderful organization. Help them beat February’s donation in March by shopping this weekend!

WANT Block Club is looking for volunteers for their Spring Clean Up event on Sunday, March 29 from 9AM-12PM. From 9AM-10:30AM, volunteers will cleanup litter and pick up leaves. Rakes and supplies are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own gloves. From 10:30AM-12PM, stick around for a Cleaning Hand Tools workshop using community tools. Bring your own pruners to clean! |

WAFFLES AT THE SWEDISH AMERICAN MUSEUM Happy Våffeldag. Waffles are being served in both Mormor's Café and the Swedish American Museum hall today. Guests are invited to stop by and celebrate, with waffles available for $5 and coffee for $2 until 3PM.
ANNUAL EARTH DAY SALE Buffalo Exchange’s annual Earth Day $1 Sale returns on Saturday, April 18, starting at 11AM while supplies last at both the Andersonville and Wicker Park locations. Shoppers can find a curated selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories for just $1 each, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Plastic Pollution Coalition. The sale is cash only and items go quickly, so plan to arrive early and bring a reusable bag.
EASTER AT UVAE Celebrate Easter at Uvae Kitchen and Wine Bar on Sunday, April 5 with a festive brunch experience. Guests can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu for $58 per person, with the option to add unlimited boozy brunch for $28.
