ChiTownBio SAS (Science After School)

ChiTownBio is hosting SAS (Science After School), free event for high school students aged 15+ at their lab! It will be a fun hour of exploration, experimentation, microscopy, and students designing projects for their robotics tool.

Students will come to experiment and learn and depart with knowledge they can share with family and friends –and goodie bags, too!

Parent permission is REQUIRED. If you know of a teen that might be interested in SAS, please share the registration form with them!

Red Line Jazz Project

Red Line Jazz Project is a free public arts initiative from Mandala Arts, bringing live jazz performances to CTA Red Line stations and surrounding community spaces from May through October 2026.

Curated by jazz musician and Mandala Artist-in-Residence Fareed Haque, the series features local jazz musicians and ensembles performing short sets that blend jazz improvisation with global musical influences.
