United for Venezuela: Humanitarian Aid Donation

Arepa Pa Los Pana Inc. is collecting humanitarian aid for communities in Venezuela and is asking the community to help support this effort.
Donations of medical supplies (including medications, gauze, cotton, saline solution, gloves, masks, and first aid materials) and non-perishable food (such as rice, pasta, canned goods, flour, oil, sugar, and powdered milk) are greatly appreciated.
Every contribution helps provide much-needed relief to those facing challenges in Venezuela.

Chicago Tap Theatre’s Loyola Park
Summer 7 Week Session
When: July 14-August 25
Where: Loyola Park Fieldhouse, 1230 W. Greenleaf Ave.
- Youth Classes for ages 4-7 and 8-12. These classes are beginner-focused and will foster a love of dance and music that lasts a lifetime.
- Ages 8-12 students will learn tap dance basic steps and vocabulary as well as musical terms, and the class will blend technique, combinations, silliness, learning class structure, and tap history.
- Adult Classes are for ages 16+ for both Tap Basics and Advanced Beginners. Students will learn tap dance basic steps and vocabulary as well as musical terms, and the class will blend technique, combinations, and tap history.

In the 49th Ward, the 24th District patrols nine Beats. Each patrol Beat in the Chicago Police Department hosts monthly or bi-monthly community Beat meetings. The primary purpose of the Beat community meetings is to allow Beat residents, other community stakeholders and police to discuss chronic problems on the Beat and to engage in problem-solving. Beat community meetings provide an opportunity for police and community residents to exchange information about conditions in the neighborhood.
