We have created two public alfresco spaces available for community use. An outdoor alfresco space provides the perfect setting for any event, offering a relaxed, open-air atmosphere that enhances the experience for all.

Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival This Weekend!

Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival


When: Fri, Aug 15 - Sun, Aug 17

Where: Morse & Glenwood


This weekend celebrate an annual tradition in Rogers Park, bringing together over 130 artists and more than two dozen music and dance performances. Check out the 2025 performances here.


Visitors can explore and purchase diverse artwork—from traditional woodworking and ceramics to digital art and cutting-edge mixed media—by local and visiting artists. Set along the charming cobblestone streets of the Glenwood Avenue Arts District, near the Morse CTA Red Line stop, the fest also offers delicious bites from neighborhood eateries.


Best of all, admission is free!

Loyola Student Move-In

Loyola Student Move-In


Loyola University is beginning its student move-in process on Sat, Aug 16- Sat, Aug 23.


The City of Chicago will be issuing "No Parking" signs on streets around the campus to ensure a smooth move-in process, which will impact residential and local parking as well.

Please note there will be no moving in on Sunday, August 17, or Friday, August 22.

Join the Leone Beach Park Advisory Council at the Leone Beach Park Community Paddle to celebrate summer paddling on the Rogers Park lakefront and meet other paddlers!


Groups will launch from 9-11am and do an out/back paddle, with the route and duration determined by weather and group experience.

24th District Beat & Council Meetings

In the 49th Ward, the 24th District patrols nine Beats. Each patrol Beat in the Chicago Police Department hosts monthly or bi-monthly community Beat meetings. The primary purpose of the Beat community meetings is to allow Beat residents, other community stakeholders and police to discuss chronic problems on the Beat and to engage in problem-solving. Beat community meetings provide an opportunity for police and community residents to exchange information about conditions in the neighborhood.
