Late-er Night Thursday | December 12

Tomorrow night is Late-er Night Thursday, and our participating businesses are staying open until 7 PM so you can enjoy a little extra time to shop. 25+ businesses are offering special promotions. From shopping and dining specials to photos with Santa, gingerbread house building, and more, Celtic Knot is also opening its doors at 2022 Central Street. Bundle up and enjoy a festive stroll along Central Street. Designated businesses are offering treats and/or drinks while you shop. Come for the shopping and stay for the dining!

Free Parking

The City of Evanston is making local holiday shopping easier this year by offering a “Holiday Parking: Free for 2024” promotion. Community members and visitors to Evanston’s business districts will enjoy up to two hours of free parking daily from November 27, 2024 to January 1, 2025.

Download the Park Evanston App and enter the code "Holiday2024". This offer is valid for app users once per day per account.

About Central Street Evanston

Central Street Evanston is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation that manages the Special Service Areas (SSAs) #7 and #8 along the Central Street and Green Bay Road corridors. Funded by the owners and businesses in the SSAs, revenues are collected from a tax imposed on commercial properties within the SSA boundaries and used to fund marketing, special events, beautification, placemaking and other services to support Central Street businesses and create a vibrant sense of place for residents and visitors.
