Quartz invites you to join us for a virtual workshop on March 26th, at 1-2pm EDT, for parents and caretakers navigating the change to work from home alongside extremely full-time childcare responsibilities.

We are all teachers now. Mass school closures mean that many new remote workers face competing challenges of adopting new digital work practices while transitioning their children to online learning. In this workshop, parents will get expert advice on managing multiple tasks and warding off chaos when everyone’s home all together.

The next workshop, "The lives of working parents now", will cover:
  • Managing the work day when you’re not home alone
  • Tips for keeping kids occupied, connected, and educated, by age group
  • Understanding your child’s responses to stress
  • The efficacy of online and home-based learning

We will also host a “coffee” break for your kids, where children of our listeners can meet some of our presenters’ children from around the world, participate in a group stretch, and watch a cool Quartz video (while parents get a few minutes to change a diaper, give out a snack, or check in on how the online learning is coming along.)

Our live workshops are free to attend. For access to playbacks of this and other sessions—and to all of Quartz and Quartz at Work’s global journalism on how the world is changing—become a member. Start your free 7-day trial of membership, today.

See you soon,
Quartz
